Job Listing: Market Research Analyst

Our client, a large pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Marketing Research Analyst. This person will be responsible for supporting marketing with strategic and tactical decision making by providing ongoing and hoc analysis of internal and external market data.

On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for creating and managing an Access database of patient/ physician information for pharmaceutical products. This person will develop regular set of analyses to guide marketing and sales efforts. This person will also be in charge of conducting competitive intelligence scanning and analysis across the business in conjunction with the brands and with Commercial Development. This person will also be working with Sales Administration to analyze current sales figures on a monthly basis in order to identify trends, strengths and weaknesses and refine sales strategies. Ideally this person will act as a contact for internal clients and the sales forces.

To be qualified for this position, individuals should have experience in market research, database management or business/financial analysis. Individuals will also have to have proficiency with MS Access and Excel, as well as superior analytical abilities and techniques. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 2 years of experience in market research, database management or business/financial analysis.
