Job Listing: Energy Analyst

Our client is the leader in the online energy procurement space. They are looking for an "A-Level" professional to join their successful, entrepreneurial team in their dedicated and accomplished Operations Department. The ideal candidate myth have a demonstrated track record of at least five years experience in an analytical role where steady and consistent professional growth is apparent.

The candidate will be working with 3-4 other energy analysts working on anywhere from 3-4 on-going reverse auctions for their large customers. They will be dealing with both the customer and energy supply side (Constellation New Energy, or any other competitive retail energy supplier).

Qualified candidates should demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the analysis of electricity and or natural gas rates and tariffs. They also must develop and maintain a strong level of understanding of the regulatory landscape and the competitive energy markets. They must manage electricity and natural gas procurements rom data analysis to contracting. They must resolve client questions, disputes and data errors that result as a function of the procurement process. Support Sales, Marketing and Operations. Assist in monitoring and refining workflow and business process to meet corporate goals. Recommend new product and service offerings. Support team members with day to day activities of the team and word with peers to accomplish team and corporate objectives. Clearly communicate complex regulatory concepts in both a written and oral manner.

Strong multi-tasking ability is a MUST and a service minded person a MUST. Our client is an energy consultant. They are offering a business solution to their clients. They get the usage/consumption from the end user first, then have the suppliers bid on the purchase price.
