Job Listing: Traffic Manager - Traffic Coordinator

A major creative firm in the Kansas City area has an immediate opening for a Traffic Manager/Traffic Coordinator. This is a contract position working with the Creative Business Manager to facilitate the flow of work on multimedia project within the creative studio.

Job Duties:

* Set up, update, communicate and track specific workflow schedules on all client requests for multimedia projects.
* Develop schedules, identify necessary tasks and appropriate timeframes, key dates, resource availability and ensure on-time delivery of projects.
* Maintain Creative Manager Pro, a traffic software/database

Job Requirements:

* Background in graphic design, advertising, and/or marketing is essential
* Knowledge of creative workflow and creative positions is preferred
* Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and deadline-oriented
* Ability to effectively communicate workload status to clients
* Strong experience with MS Word and Excel, Lotus Notes, and scheduling/traffic software.

This is a first-shift position with normal hours from 8am to 5pm. This is a temporary assignment scheduled to last through the end of the year.
