Job Listing: Business Analyst with Insurance Claims

Description The client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join Information Technology Team. This team acts as a liaison between the Subsidiaries and a third party vendor; to implement a suite of insurance applications for the subsidiaries.

Responsibilities include leading, reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs, documenting those needs, defining detailed business requirements, processes and functional designs; developing and executing test plans, issue resolution with a 3rd party vendor, testing and defect resolution/triage, and conducting business change management – all within the Project Management Methodology.

Requirements
Must be a ‘self starter’ and ‘Can Do’ thinker who can accomplish tasks with minimal guidance.
Firm understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
Insurance system life cycle experience (Policy, Claims, Billing, etc.)
Must be able to quickly shift priorities
Must be able to work well in a fast paced environment
Solid computer skills including (MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook…)
Familiarity with a defect tracking/resolution tool (e.g. Clear Quest)

Experience
6+ years of relevant experience as a Senior Business Analyst or similar position
Work Skills

Excellent organization skills
Excellent ability to ‘get up to speed’ quickly.
