Job Listing: Help Desk

This position is with a New York State office, currently looking for a number of entry level help desk people.


Mandatory Requirements

1) The Contractor’s proposed Consultants must meet at a minimum, the requirements of the OGS contract for HELP DESK Entry Level (EL) Specialists.

2) The Contractor’s proposed Consultant must possess an Associate’s Degree in Computer or Information Science OR one (1) year of satisfactory work experience on an IT Help Desk/User Support environment.



Desirable Experience

Associate’s Degree in Computer or Information Science, AND one (1) year of satisfactory work experience on an IT Help Desk/User Support environment
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer or Information Science
Demonstrated Help Desk Agent Certification/Training
Demonstrated Customer Service Certification/Training
Demonstrated experience with the HP Service Center software (formerly Peregrine Service Center)
Demonstrated experience in meeting ambitious deadlines and delivering high-quality work on schedule
Demonstrated experience working closely with business customers to develop user requirements
Demonstrated leadership skills, communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
A+ certification
MCP certification
Demonstrated ability to provide knowledge transfer
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
