Position Purpose:
Responsible for the supervision of the day-to-day IS operations processes and staff of computer operators, which includes the coordination, delegation, planning and scheduling of operations tasks and user request. Also responsible for implementing operations procedures and techniques to improve efficiency of processes, overall problems and policies.
Knowledge/Experience:
Associates degree or equivalent in computer science or related field. At least 2-4 years of experience in computer operations, data center operations or related field. Microsoft Office skills. Lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Position Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day IS operations processes for completion; follow up on any outstanding issues or problems.
- Working with analysts and programmers in adapting and testing programs and procedures to adhere to our standard operating procedures.
- May work outside of normal working hours and/or on a rotating shift basis as needed.
- Serve as the liaison between IS operations and the health plans in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational issues.
- Ensure adequate security and control of the operations area; control the distribution of sensitive information.
- Reviewing quality of services provided; report weekly statistics in graphical form.
