Aerotek, the National Leader in Contract Engineering Recruitment for the Aerospace Industry has recently been tasked by one of it's Industry leading Clients for experienced an Systems Engineer to work on a cutting-edge Government Communications Program.
This Systems Engineer will be involved in the traditional Systems Engineering responsibilities such as requirement writing, developing, creating and designing all requirements for system hardware and software. This candidate will participate in the full life cycle systems development of hardware and software systems including system analysis, design, development, test and evaluation, and integration activities.
Experience with Requirements Analysis, Requirements Based Testing, Requirements Decomposition, and Requirements Traceability is required. This position requires a Masters degree in Computer and/or Electrical Engineering, or other related scientific or technical disciplines with a minimum of 3 years related experience or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. US Citizenship is required.
This Systems Engineer should have significant experience with the DOORS Requirement Management Tool. Candidates should be able to generate a variety of system documentation including requirements specifications and interface control documents. Knowledge of UML and Rhapsody along with stores management experience is a plus.
This opening is a long-term contract position running an estimated duration of 9 months. The Systems Engineer will work a 9-80 work schedule, getting every other Friday off.
Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background investigation in order to be hired.
