Job Listing: Product Approval Technician

Aerotek is seeking a Mechanical Technician to work at Whirlpool Corporation in their St. Joseph location.

In this position, you will perform evaluations and develop a strong understanding of our appliance operations and lab procedures, applying it to specific projects within the Product Development group. You will be required to gather knowledge through test work, applying that information to analyze problems for root cause. The person is also responsible for maintaining a strong communication link to the supervisor and related departments. He/She will provide technical direction in problem solving while developing and applying a strong understanding of appliance operations and lab procedures.

The successful candidate MUST have experience with product development testing. He or she must have mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, as well as strong troubleshooting abilities. You must possess strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task. An Associates degree is required. Experience with Excel is a plus.

This is a full time contract position.
