Job Listing: Staff Accountant

Our client, a leader in the Construction Management field is seeking a Staff Accountant.

On a day to day basis the Accountant will be responsible for:

-Responsible for data entry with A/P vouchers and payroll time cards.
-Review A/P batches and release A/P batches for payment.
-Process payments to vendors (approximately 500 per weekly check-run.)
-Manual check request processing.
-Record employee expense reports.
-Process new vendor setup.
-Code vendor invoice for corporate office expenditures.
-Process recurring payables such as rent.
-Prepare daily cash disbursement reports from A/P.
-Customer support with A/P inquires from vendors and divisions.
-Monthly labor union reporting
-Month end closing of A/P and produce A/P aging reports.
-Special projects as assigned

To be qualified for this position, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office Spreadsheet software and MS Office Word Processing software in addition to basic email and internet familiarity and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Some travel may required.
