Job Listing: Software/Hardware Test Engineer

Aerotek currently has a great direct opportunity for a Software/Hardware Test Engineer to work in an exciting and fast paced environment. Our client is a leading developer of Audio and Video storage devices for law enforcement agencies and has seen exponential company and financial growth over the past few years. This growth has caused the need to bring on a qualified Test Engineer to join their team.

Candidate will be involved in design and development of board level test software and fixtures. Strong embedded c skills will be leveraged to validate and troubleshoot digital processing products on the assembly line.

Responsibilities include:

1. Design and development of embedded c test applications on many platforms.
2. Design and implement Power On Self Tests.
3. Work closely with production and engineering to define test procedures.
4. Provide technical support and documentation to production.
5. Assist engineering staff with Fixture design and PCB layout.

Qualifications:

1. Several years of implementing production line test software.
2. Embedded C
3. Good communication skills
4. Bed of nails design.
5. Self-starter that is capable of creative and innovative problem solving
