Electro / Mechanical Inspector

A large aerospace company is currently seeking 1st shift electro / mechanical inspectors.

This position is located in Buena Park, CA, and pays $12-$14 per hour.

Major job duties include:
-Inspecting various relay assemblies and subassemblies to ensure compliance to manufacturing prints and specifications, including solder joints, wiring, paint, label schematics, etc.
-Inspecting fabricated parts/raw materials/subassemblies for workmanship and specification compliance
-Checking dimensions/processes on parts or raw material to ensure compliance to manufacturing drawings/blueprints/specifications
-Using various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.
-Accepting/rejecting parts and filling out corresponding paperwork
-May test parts according to standardized test procedures using voltmeters, ohmmeters, resistance bridges and other electrical testing instruments if dealing with shipping/receiving inspection

Job requirements and qualifications:
-3 - 5 years experience in electromechanical assembly, fabrication or inspection.
-Ability to read and interpret manufacturing prints, blueprints and drawings.
-Familiarity with electromechanical inspection tools such as calipers, microscopes, and dial gauges.
-Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
-Ability to meet visual standards as set forth in military specifications.
-Good math ability

Standard work week is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.
