Quality Manager

A company in Lake Forest, CA has an immediate opening for an experienced Quality Manager.

The Quality Assurance Manager will plan, implement, and administer an ISO-9000 quality system.

Duties and responsibilities:
* Develops and implement policies and procedures to ensure an effective quality program.
* Formulates and maintains quality plans and procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
* Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to ensure quality and reliability specifications are met.
* Responsible for developing and implementing an internal quality system audit program to monitor and ensure compliance with quality system requirements, including corrective actions, training, and follow up audits.
* Responsible for maintaining the calibration of all inspection and testing equipment within the organization.
* Responsible for training and directing personnel in quality and inspection activities.
* Responsible for continuous improvement, formal and informal customer complaints and quality system compliance.
* Conducts and maintains supplier surveys for all approved suppliers.
* Plans and organizes training activities related to product quality and compliance with the ISO 9001 – 2000 quality standard.

Certifications, Education and Experience:
* Must be a Black Belt – Master Black Belt preferred.
* BS degree from four-year college or university.
* 8 to 10 years of experience in the high technology electronics industry with a concentration in quality systems.
* Must have demonstrated knowledge of TQM, advanced quality planning, inspection, equipment and techniques, capability studies, statistical techniques, problem solving, team facilitation, and geometric dimensioning..
* Must have excellent Verbal and Written communications skills.
