Job Listing: "Marketing Administrative Assistant"

Our client a well known gaming company is looking for a marketing admin.

On a day to day basis this individual will be responsible for:


-Assist Consumer Promotions Manager and Assistant Managers with day-to-day coordination and execution of experimental events, partnership/sponsorship programs and product placement opportunities
-Facilitates the flow of information from internal and external sources
-Recap events, send program updates, and route reports
-Follow up on partnership calls (collect proposal information from interested parties)
-Manage Sponsorwise system (check online proposal submissions and provide first line evaluation)
-Enter and submit hardware/software product requests to Sales Administration
-Enter requisitions in the project management system
-Submit and process Action Memos
-Coordinate contracts, agreements, and other legal submissions
-Fulfill overnight shipments
-Coordinate meetings and maintain schedules
-Maintain department files
-Coordinate and work on special projects

-Ability to maintain high quality standards
-Good judgment and decision making skills
-ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of personnel
-Ability to work with highly confidential and/or sensitive matters
-Excellent typing skills
-Strong word processing skills and good spreadsheet skills (Word, Excel)
-Some experience with PowerPoint, Access, PhotoShop, desktop publishing, and chart making software will be helpful
-Experience in marketing/public relations environment preferred
-Two to three years of administrative experience using the software noted above
-Vocational certification as an executive secretary, or AA in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent a plus
