Technical Writer
This team is working on the next version of their storage appliance that will plug into consumer's network and serve files.
The Core team is looking for an experience Technical Writer to develop online content that will help OEMs and IT Pros install and manage storage servers. This content will include online Help, UI reference documentation, installation and getting started guides as well as troubleshooting guides.

This is an estimated 5 month contract position (with likely extension) through Volt Technical & Creative Communication - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Bothell, Washington. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

Required Skills for this Technical Writer includes the following:
Strong writing skills with experience writing to an IT Pro audience
Has an understanding of server technologies
Experience writing Help and UI content
An in-depth knowledge of server technologies and server deployment processes
Experience with HTML
Experience using DocStudio a plus
Problem solving, and cross-team skills are required for this position.
Hands-on experience as an IT Professional is a plus
