Job Listing: General Manager
Volt Professional Search has partnered with an innovative company with a high-tech concept searching for a leader to head up their newest location in the Los Angeles area. This is an opportunity to become a visible leader in a new, exciting and growing organization with proven success and thriving business in other locations across the country. The responsibilities of the General Manager is to manage a retail store and develop operational and sales processes to increase revenue. This includes hiring sales and operations staff, implementing corporate policy and process, guiding and directing new business opportunities and managing the store operations. This is an 8:00 - 5:00 M-F operation so traditional retail store hours will NOT be required!
Required Skills
Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory, retail, customer service and inside sales experience within a subscription-based business. Candidates with a background managing a retail facility servicing small business owners is ideal and experience in providing in-person cellular phone sales and service or parcel delivery service is a huge plus. Proven leadership experience is required and those with employee selection and hiring skills is highly desired. A Bachelor's degree is preferred as well as strong technology skills.
