Senior Environmental Planner

LOCATION:Rocklin

SALARY:$72,500 - $86,000

POSITION:Senior Environmental Planner

Emerging leader in the environmental industry seeks extremely qualified environmental scientist with planning experience.

In this role the most qualified individual will have various responsibilities that will include but not limited to the preparation of environmental documents (EIR/EIS), project proposals and federal contract projects including; U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This individual will be responsible for managing each of these projects from conception to completion.

This individual must posses the following:

* An excellent working knowledge of NEPA/CEQA.

* Experience conducting environmental impact studies

* Preparation of EIRs and EISs

* Advanced proficiency with technical writing including editing of documents

* Immense experience managing a variety of projects

* The ability to mentor associate level planners

* At least 3 years of experience in the private sector

* Experience with project management (budgeting and workload
management)

The environmental planner will be responsible for managing projects from the first day of employment. The difference with being a project manager with our firm is that there is client interaction and management but there will not be a need for business development. We have an excellent reputation in the industry that has prompted our clients to award us projects with out bidding. We also have a host of referrals from our clients. We are looking for a progressive project manager who has a love for working hard and developing individuals.
