Job Listing: Electronics Technician II Blue Sky

BLUE SKY POSITION
This position is made in anticipation of additional manning requirement. Upon a approval, staffing requirements for the position of painter must be filled. The purpose of this posting is to identify qualified candidates for this position before program approval is actually announced. Current timing is estimated at October 1, 2008.

Job Description:
applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by
interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents. Work requires
familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning
work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for
compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate
supervisionand achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.

Requirements:
Must have 24 months working in the field of automotive electronics, military vehicle experience a plus. Formal Tech School/Classes, Electronics a plus. Position may require removing and installing heavy armor plating, working with heavy components and assemblies and some work under arduous conditions.
