Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic (SHEET METAL)

Specific Job Description:

Requires thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal and structural repair, related technical manuals, and maintenance/repair procedures. Experience with primarily OH-58 or Heavy Aircraft is recommended. Position requires a working knowledge of logbook records, historical records, maintenance records, supply records, and data entry requirements for assigned aircraft.


Makes repairs to aircraft, removes, cleans, reinstalls, or replaces defective parts, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidate must have a minimum of three years experience working as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic on heavy aircraft. Training on heavy or OH-58 aircraft desired. Candidate must be a high school graduate or completed an equivalent program. Must possess safety shoes and required common hand tools prior to employment. Candidate may be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration. Must possess a valid drivers license. Must consent to drug testing and, if required, be approved for a security clearance. Must be available for all shifts.

Continual Per Diem and Mileage Reimbursement will be paid at Joint Travel Regulation Rates and/or Contract Rates when authorized
