Job Listing: software engineer

a current Aerotek integration client is looking for a software engineer to work at one of their client's facilities. Qualified candidates would be responsible for design, development, testing and maintenance of software on real-time embedded applications. Primary functions would include but our not limited to:
-understanding the general requirements of each project, and converting those requirements into written functional specifications as they related to the performance of the software.
-architecting and planning the design of software
-developing software for real-time embedded applications
-maintaining embedded controller software and documentation
-following of software development processes,verification. and change control procedures
-debugging code using various tools including emulators,debuggers,logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and simulators
-verifying the performance of the software against the functional specifications

Required skills are:
- BS in preferably Electrical but computer, software engineering or computer science related field would be fine.
-Experience in C programming
-Strong PC skills
-Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers.

Desired skills include:
-Experience with simulink or other system modeling tools
-CAN/J1939 experience helpful
-agricultural or construction background useful
