Job Listing: DEPARTMENT ACCOUNTANT

DESCRIPTION:

A national engineering firm has an immediate opening for a motivated, mature, and dependable individual to be the Department Accountant in our Salt Lake City office. Candidates will conduct all accounting functions to support an engineering and professional staff of 55. The main responsibilities of this position will include client invoicing, project budgeting, and collections management as well as coding and processing A/P, and reviewing and processing time sheets and expense reports. This position requires a team player who will be able to assist multiple project managers and staff. We are looking for a well-organized professional with a high attention to detail and accuracy. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. PeopleSoft experience a plus. Prior accounting education and project accounting experience a plus.


REQUIREMENTS:

*Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or related field required
*Minimum 6 years experience
*Must have cost accounting experience.
*Ability to work with individuals locally and on a nation-wide basis
*Experience in a large corporate setting, ability to multi-task
*MS Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
*PeopleSoft or other ERP software a plus
