Job Listing: Energy Engineer

A growing energy services company in Carlsbad, California is looking for an ambitious, energetic person to support our industrial energy efficiency projects activity. This Position is responsible for the development of technical plans and designs for the implementation of energy projects. The focus will be on developing cost effective and innovative solutions that significantly improve our customers’ facility’s energy efficiency.


Position is primarily responsible for the technical evaluation and design of industrial retrofit projects focused on energy efficiency. Position will be key to developing the engineering and technical parameters related implementation and performance of the Company’s energy projects. This position is critical in supporting the company's mission to serve its customers though sound and innovative technical designs that provide energy efficient solutions for our customers.

Duties:
1. Conduct customer facility audits to identify and evaluate energy efficiency measure.
2. Prepare facility energy feasibility reports designed to inform customer of projects that can provide significant energy savings.
3. Provide technical assistance to Business Development Dept to develop energy project proposals.
4. Provide technical assistance to Project Management during implementation of energy projects.
5. Provide assistance in meeting utility programs technical requirements.
6. Travel is required.
7. Other duties as required

Qualifications:
1. BS or BA engineering or related field.
2. 3-6 yrs energy project or process engineering experience in an industrial facility environment. Energy related project experience preferred.
