Job Listing: Construction Estimator

A New York City Construction Management Firm is looking for a Senior Estimator with 6+ years of estimating experience to join their team!

This person will need to have 4+ years of experience estimating and at least 2+ years experience estimating high-end residential interior projects in New York City!

This person will be responsible for:
* Calculating the total costs for both proposed and actual jobs.
* Analyze specifications to ensure all required information for calculating cost is included
* Add production steps necessary to meet job requirements
* Secure quotations from outside vendors on jobs that cannot be produced in-house
* Award bids to outside companies as necessary based on time required, price and quality of work
* Analyze results of job cost studies to determine the accuracy of estimating standards
* Assist in compiling cost data for job cost system
* Prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations of conclusions

This company is looking to immediately bring on a Senior Estimator to grow with the Firm.
