Job Listing: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

A Large to Mid-Sized company in the Des Plaines area is looking for a Electrical maintenance Engineer to join their team.

This Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for all electrical maintenance in the facility with an emphasis on high speed packaging machines.

Main Responsibilities:
** Installs, repairs, constructs, adjusts, overhauls, calibrates, services, and programs all types of electronic equipment in the facility.
** Does PLC programming and troubleshooting. Will plug in the computer to the PLC and troubleshoot it to see where the problem is.
** Plans work, sets up and operates all machine shop equipment and machinery to repair and rework parts.
** Will maintenance all of the production equipment including PM's, overhauls, safety inspections as well as breakdown maintenance and rebuilding subassemblies.
** Line control programming to ensure maximum production output at lowest spoilage and costs.
** Does general building maintenance such as painting, concrete work, carpentry, HVAC and compressor systems, lighting and power.
** Keep plant areas in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition, and remove scrap materials from the line.

Requirements:
** Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience
** Need to have HIGH SPEED PACKAGING in your background
** Any experience with RS controls and RS Logics would be a huge plus.
