Commercial Construction Superintendent

A well respected Commercial Construction Company located in York, PA is looking to add a Superintendent to their tem immediately. This company has thrived for over 45 years completing most of their work in South Central Pennsylvania. An individual with a carpentry background would be ideal. Their Superintendents are in charge of running the job from the field.

Scope of Position:
- Direct and coordinate trades: Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, Drywall Specialists, Painters, etc.
- Oversee work progress according to schedule
- Material and equipment are delivered to the site on time
- Responsible for an assigned crew of field employees while on site.

Requirements:
- Sound understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading
- Experience in commercial work: metal frame, drywall, finishing, acoustic ceilings, commercial trim applications, commercial doors and hardware etc.
- Experience managing more Subcontractors on job site
- Excellent communication skills
