Job Listing: J2EE Developer/Software Engineer (Work From Home!)

Volt Technical Resources is searching for a J2EE Software Engineer to work off-site for an Aerospace Engineering company. We need someone that can work by themselves and produce web applications. This Software Engineer will work on the enterprise Model Based Development (MBD) engineering tool environment. The successful candidate will use J2EE technology to design and develop solutions that will allow engineers to reuse existing models in new designs.

Required Skills

The Ideal candidates will possess the following skills:

1. Be able to work independently from a remote location producing consistent, measurable results.

2. Have experience developing complex web based J2EE applications.

3. Have experience working with SQL and relational databases.

4. Have experience using standard configuration management tools.

5. Possess knowledge of engineering design processes.

*ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS*

*Knowledge of UML and OO design methods*

*Knowledge of XML*

*Experience using Enterprise Architect, Subversion and Eclipse*

*Have strong experience extending Simulink tools and models using M-Code/M-Scripts*

*Knowledge of Simulink auto coder, StateFlowCharts, Model references, data flows, and utility libraries*

*Experience with Eclipse plug-in development*
