Job Listing: Material Inspector
Approve or reject incoming materials from vendors adhering and finished products to internally set material and product specifications; Conduct or coordinate corporate and industry approved test methods for inspection and evaluation of incoming materials and finished product; Document all inspections as part of the receiving process in accordance with procurement procedures; Report any found discrepancies in a timely manner to all stakeholders so that corrective or remedial actions can be taken in a manner to expedite the needs to the internal customer; Perform source inspection at local vendors.

Required Skills
High school diploma or GED; Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with keen analytical reasoning and math skills; Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures for chemical and mechanical part inspection; Ability to document work results accurately and reliably.
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook and Word); Ability to interact effectively and respectfully towards all employees especially during periods of stress; Ability to effectively manage time set priorities, meet time requirements and commitments; Capable of working within tight schedules and handling multiple tasks.
