Job Listing: SAS Administrator

TEKsystems is looking for a SAS Administrator for a contract position in Lincoln, NE. Candidates should be a motivated self-starter helping to support the client's enterprise Information Management architecture. This individual’s primary responsibilities will be to oversee and maintain the SAS Environment Support across the enterprise. In addition, they will be expected to monitor and support other key applications providing data to the business.

Primary responsibilities of the SAS Administrator include:
- Working with SAS Management Console for SAS platform administration
- Conducting performance tuning and capacity management
- Actively participating in and contributing to the implementation of best industry practices for SAS application management
- Administering the SAS client applications
- Participating in the administration of the SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS OLAP cubes, SAS Information Maps, etc.
- Managing the plug-ins in SAS Management console including the Data Link Manager (DLM)
- Planning, executing, and monitoring the SAS BI platform security and data archival solution for the platform
The chosen candidate must possess:
- Substantial SAS programming experience in SAS Enterprise Guide
- Strong familiarity and experience with SAS Business Intelligence Platform administration
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, Sybase
Candidates with experience in the following will be preferred:
- SAS Management Console
- SAS Data Integration Studio and SQL programming
- UNIX Scripting
- Oracle experience is preferred
- Experience with Business Objects is a plus
- Experience with Informatica is a plus
