Job Listing: Accounts Receivable Associate

Our client, a ceramics manufacturing company located in Wood-Ridge, NJ, needs an experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to join their accounting team. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years related experience performing the following:

Responsibilities:
-Review lockbox deposits
-wire transfers and ACH receipts for accuracy upon receiving
-Correct any transposed errors in preparation for posting to the general ledger
-Analyze cash posted to accounts when a dispute was reported and the resolution of said dispute when applicable.
- Allocation of funds
-Rolling over debits and credits from one account to the other when customer wants to use a credit from another division on a split check.
- Verification of all cash, multiple cash applications and credit card postings to the cash journal.
-Conduct credit checks, make daily collection calls and email correspondence to customers on past due balances.
-Compile and submit past due item reports to General Managers weekly
-Perform monthly close which includes reconciling cash, Accounts Receivable and printing of Accounts Receivable Trial Balance.
-Other projects as assigned

Minimum of Associates Degree is REQUIRED
