Job Listing: Traveling Concrete Project Manager

Aerotek Construction Management is looking for a Concrete Construction Project Manager. This person must be open to travel and have a history of experience in concrete construction.

Job Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
*Experience managing multiple projects dealing with heavy concrete construction
*Experience with multi-million dollar concrete projects
*Ability to write reports, change orders, business correspondence, and procedures
*Ability to work in a team environment
*Must be able to work in both an office environment as well as on site
*MUST BE OPEN TO TRAVEL

Job Duties:
*Work with estimators and superintendents to secure projects and develop practical and cost-effective business plan
*Examine Scope of Work and review bid drawings to fully understand the customer's expectations
*Develop schedules and budgets for project
*Oversee staff including hiring and evaluating performance
*Review, approve, and track change orders
*Attend project meetings confirming and resolving schedule, completion status, and contractual issues
*Establish tone and set example for Safety First attitude by ensuring that safety rules are followed and that corrective action is taken when rules are broken
