Database Developer

Ideal candidate must have 5+ years significant experience in SQL Server Database Development. The Database Developer would be responsible for designing and implementing relational database models (logical and physical) and database storage objects. They would also program servers by using user-defined functions, triggers, stored procedures, Transact-SQL. Candidate would retrieve or modify data by using SQL queries or tune and optimize queries and help development team with special performance considerations in relation to database design and point out potential design problems.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Strong communication skills: oral, written and presentation
-Strong documentation skills required for detailed, technical specifications and installation guides
-Strong Analytics skills
-Expert knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, Triggers, DB design
-Expert in database system optimization

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Code Review
-Code and structure optimization
-Design Review
-Maintenance Job monitoring and improvement
-Documentation
-CDO Metrics Development
-Assist Database Department as needed
-Help/Train programmers and engineers to efficiently utilize the database
-Provide expert consultation in one or more areas for the design, development and implementation of database products and systems
-Database optimization (Indexes, Code)
-Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging in relation to database code
-Data modeling and design review
