Job Listing: Project/Design Engineer

Aerotek in Greensboro, NC has a permanent position available for a Project/Design Engineer in the Winston-Salem, NC area. The position requires a BS in either Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. The BS degree is a MUST. We are looking for a Project Engineer with a strong background in Pro/E Design. This person will be working on Linear Hydraulic Actuators and Pumps and Motors. This person will need experience with hydraulics.
We are looking for either a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree.
The Project Engineer they are looking for will be specifically working with the Linear Hydraulic Actuators. The candidate must have a strong background in aerospace and the design and development of hydraulics. This person will be responsible for proposal work, procurement of materials, testing the life cycle of the project. There will be some travel (10%). This candidate will do more calculations to size the devices and will pass that information off to a designer to put in CAD. If the candidate has ProE that is a plus, but any 3D CAD system will work!
Experience should include: experience supporting design and development of hydraulic equipment (aerospace equipment experience preferred). Candidate is expected to have broad exposure to all aspects of hydraulic product development, including design, analysis, and testing. Similarly, broad exposure to manufacturing and quality functions is also desired. Solid communication skills (written and verbal) are a must (foreign language skills are a plus).
