Job Listing: Java Developer

Our client in Louisville, KY is looking for a Java developer for a contract to hire position to develop software for new applications and make enhancements to existing applications.

In this role the candidate will also analyzes requirements, design, code, test, debug, and document all software. They will also provide support to the IT and Implementation teams as needed.

Job Skills/Requirements

This position requires 4 to 7 years of programming and systems analysis in a high technology business / area. Candidate must also have a solid skill set in Java. Experience developing N-tier enterprise level Web applications in Java using an MVC framework is highly desirable.

Background using the following technologies is preferred:

Oracle, JBoss, Apache / Tomcat, Struts, JSP, JSF, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, TopLink. JBoss and/or Tomcat preferred. Background in technologies such as object oriented design and development, web application development using JSP/STRUTS, and J2EE is preferred.
