Job Listing: Collections Specialist

Aerotek Professional Services has an immediate opening for several Senior Collection Specialist in Florence. Our client is a national leader in the mortgage industry offering excellent pay and an exciting work environment. Salary will range from $13 -15/hr depending on experience.


Responsibilities include:
- Candidates will interact with customers to accurately and timely resolve customer issues regarding all aspects of delinquent government and conventional mortgage loans.
- Candidates will be required to meet specific quality and volume requirements for specified activities.
-Candidates will conduct research on non-performing loans to provide accurate and timely recommendations for foreclosure actions.
-Candidates will conduct internal audits to validate the correct servicing of loans and escalate identified errors as required.
-Candidates will generate outbound calls with delinquent borrowers who are considered high risk or with associated third parties.
-Candidates will perform a thorough review of loans servicing history for errors or deficiencies and communicate errors to appropriate personnel for expedited resolution necessary for preventing contested or impaired foreclosure actions.
-Candidates will provide final approval of foreclosure action and send approved loan files to Document Control.



Qualifications:
- 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- The ability to act with a sense of urgency and confidence.
