Job Listing: Microbiologist

Aerotek client is immediately hiring a microbiologist in the Aberdeen, MD area.

Candidate will be responsible for the following:
-Perform laboratory work in a multitude of disciplines, including but not limited to microbiology, biochemistry, chemistry and materials engineering
-Bacterial culturing and testing
-Testing of minimum inhibition and zones of inhibition, etc
-Work with a variety of organisms, including but not limited to bacteria, viruses, plants and small animals (fish, mice, chickens, etc.)

Candidate must have the following to be qualified for this position:
-Masters degree in life science or related discipline (Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, etc.)
-4-6 years experience in a laboratory environment
-Ability to work in a variety of disciplines and willingness to learn is required
