Job Listing: Mechanical/Chemical Engineer

A mid-size manufacturing company is looking for a Mechanical/Chemical Engineer to join our team for a contract position.

Job Description:
The engineer will be responsible for helping the facility up to PSM (process safety management) codes. They will have to do the pressure safety valve calculations and specifications on tanks, vessels, heat exchanges and relief valves. They will be responsible for updating the files and creating a standardized system. There are currently 800 calculations within the facility and a few hundred pressure safety valve calculations need updating. They will be doing calculations on the file for the tanks and vessels and heat exchanges. They will have to check field conditions.

Qualifications:
*Must have a BS in mechanical or chemical engineering
*Must have 2 + years experience with tanks
*Must have API/ASME codes knowledge
*Must have 20-30 calculations on valves, vessels, and tanks
*Experience in a PSM plant facility is a plus
