Job Listing: Laboratory Technical Manager/Team Leader

Aerotek is currently looking for a Technical Manager to work at our clients site. Our client is one of the leading bio-analytical testing companies in the world and they are looking for a qualified Laboratory Technical Manger/Team Leader to work at their testing facility in Des Moines, IA.

RESPONSIBILITY:
- Assisting the Business Unit Manager in the coordination of daily operational activities which will result in the growth of the operation in terms of profitability and market share.
- Will be responsible for the overall management of the laboratory staff of 10-15 people and is required to supervise, organize, and coordinate all activities of personnel
- Lab Manager will report directly to the Business Unit Manager and will work with clients by building professional business relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have Chemistry or Biology with 3-5 years of related experience. Candidates with a business degree and pertinent lab experience will also be considered.
- MUST have ICP experience to be considered.
- Elemental analysis including AA, ICP, wet chemistry, ICP-MS
- GC and HPLC analysis is strongly recommended.

Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
