Our Client is the world's leading manufacturer and distributor of critical service flange gaskets, spring-energized jacketed seals and electrical flange isolation kits (cathodic protection) for the oil and gas production, processing, gas transmission, pipeline, power generation and utility industries.

Our Clients products are approved and in use by virtually all of the major international oil and gas operators, engineering contractors and gas transmission companies.



Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer
Coordinating engineering work relating to manufacturing processes, including developmental and experimental phases leading to production.
- Plan, Coordinate, Implement new processes and equipment into mfg process
- Plan, Coordinate, Implement process improvement – LEAN focus
- Assist in relocation of capital equipment to new facility and capital equipment acquisition
- Research and implement capital projects
- Coordinating tooling changes to improve design of tools for optimum manufacturing capability
- Investigates manufacturing problems resulting from process changes/ new equipment.
- Coordinates the transfer of completed projects to manufacturing and provides engineering assistance from start up to production.
- Develops, with product engineering, new product introduction from experimentation to full production.
- Works closely with production personnel on new product intro and training
- Coordinates OSHA programs and safety initiatives
- Updates Engineering Manager on all activities and carries out special assignments as directed.


Requirements:
- BSME with 3-5 years experience with manufacturing processes. Experience with Lathes and working with Lathe Operators. Self –starter. Can hit ground running without micro management and enjoys being on the floor and hands on. Facility optimization experience. Lean exposure and concept understanding.
