We are seeking a molecular/cell biologist with hands-on project and laboratory experience to join our team to both manage on-going biology projects and identify/develop biochemical, cell-based and in vivo assays for the screening of drug candidates, as needed.
Responsibilities:
-Manage on-going biology projects in collaboration with various Contract Research Organizations in the US and China.
-Identify/develop/validate new biochemical, cell-based and in vivo assays to support the various projects in such collaborations
Requirements:
-Master’s degree in biological sciences with 5+ years of industry experience, or Ph.D. in biological sciences with 3+ years of industry experience.
-Extensive experience in developing biological assays for drug screening with attention to details.
-Track record of successfully developing, validating and transferring biological assays
-Experience in organizing complex projects, including good record-keeping, utilizing databases, management to timelines, etc
-Familiar with basic molecular biology and cell biology techniques.
-Willing to assume unusual working hours to communicate with Contract Research Organizations around the world and willing to take occasional travel.
-Good communication skills, fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese preferred.
Preferred:
-Candidates with project managing experiences, including working with contract research organizations.
-Candidates with prior experiences in cancer biology and/or virology.
