Job Listing: Software Tester

Our client is in need of an experience QA Tester for a permanent position.

Requirements:

1. Minimum two years technical software testing experience required (white box testing), including ability to create test plans and test scripts, manage execution of test scripts, and perform Integration and regression testing
2. Intermediate level of SQL querying
3. Basic programming knowledge
4. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, and work well with cross-functional teams

The candidate will be responsible for testing activities related to web applications developed in Active Server Pages, SQL Server, and .NET, including development of test plans, test scripts, and defect tracking.

Candidate will also perform functional testing, Integration testing, regression testing and participate in the deployments. Merge and audit the source code after the deployments. Review the documentation and conducts QA reviews as necessary. This position will include responsibility for automated testing, the candidate should be able to write and incorporate intermediate level SQL queries in the test cases. Should have good understanding of QA methodologies and be able to implement them if necessary. The person must be a self starter with good communication skills, must be able to work well individually and with a team, can work well under pressure, and must be able to quickly learn new technologies.
