Job Listing: ICD-9 Nurse

Aerotek client is immediately hiring a ICD-9 nurse. Client is looking for RN's and LPN's to perform medical records review within Care Improvement Plus’ revenue optimization department. This position is responsible for reviewing medical records for ICD-9 Codes which focus on HCC diagnosis capture.

General Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently perform medical record review.
- Accurately identify ICD-9 Codes which capture HCC Diagnosis.
- Navigate through Medical Chart Tracking System.
- Properly distribute documents to applicable casework file.
- Follow all HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience.
- Knowledge of HCC Codes.
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
