TEKsystems has a current need for Senior Level ActionScript Developers to join on clients team in the Conshohocken, PA area. This is a Full Time Permanent position. Only qualified candidates should apply!

Senior Flash Developer

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior ActionScript Developer to help drive our products, define standards and help develop industry-leading cutting edge Flash. Our Senior ActionScript Developers will be responsible for developing advertising products, with a concentration on developing high-end ActionScript code to be distributed via the client's API, video products and various non-traditional digital advertising products. You will also be responsible for analyzing assigned tasks, providing accurate work estimates, and guiding projects through the development lifecycle.

The qualified candidate should have a thorough understanding of multi-tiered Web applications with a strong background of Flash / ActionScript language, OOP, and multiple development methodologies including agile and scrum. This is a dynamic position with a great deal of room to grow professionally. All of our ActionScript developers get their hands dirty creating various rich media interfaces, consumable code in addition to well-designed traditional software projects. Those with greater levels of experience will be involved with planning, managing and implementation as well as mentoring junior level developers.
Skills:
- Solid knowledge of ActionScript 2 & 3
- Experience with OOP concepts.
- Experience building data-driven Flash applications.
- Experience with scripted animation techniques.
- Experience with progressive and streaming Flash Video.
- Knowledge of databases and content management tools.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (C#, .NET, ASP and JavaScript)
- Experience with, Flex or AIR a plus
- Experience with 3D, PaperVision or AfterEffects a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication
