An Electronics and Semiconductor company has a long-term contract available for a Test Technician to work as part of a team.
Position Overview:
This position includes supervision and direction of part-time Test Engineers. Duties for the Test Technician position include:

Maintaining the lab and lab equipment.
Designing and executing test cases.

About Our Client:
This is a Milpitas, CA-based Electronics company that designs, manufactures and markets Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), host bus adapters, RAID adapters, storage systems, and computer networking products. Additionally, the Company designs, produces and sells advanced custom semiconductors.
This is a 1 Year Contract position through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Atlanta, GA. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Southeast.

Required Skills for this Test Technician position include the following:

The Test Technician must:

Be capable of PC Hardware configuration and OS installation
Have a working knowledge of PCs
Possess excellent knowledge of PC Architecture
Be experienced with MS Windows and Linux-based Operating Systems
Have excellent written and verbal skills
Be familiar with RAID

Experience with SAS, SATA devices considered huge bonus
MS or BS degree in Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering and/or equivalent degree preferred but not required; rate of pay dependent upon Applicant's degree (Bachelors, Masters) and relevant work experience
Engenio work experience highly preferred
