POSITION: Engineer I

LOCATION: Vacaville, CA

COMPENSATION: $24-29/hour, D.O.E.


With several areas of service ranging from process design to compliance and validation, our client has set itself apart as a leader in systems integration for the biopharmaceutical industry. Through large and small-scale projects, our client has not only laid the process foundation for new pharmaceutical facilities but has also improved existing plants. This innovative consulting firm currently has an immediate opportunity for an Engineer I to join their dynamic team. The Engineer I opportunity is a junior-level position that will allow the right candidate to acquire expertise in process and control system design and validation.

The qualified candidate for the Engineer I position should have the following skills and experience:

-Ability to interface with clients and senior management to execute technical projects and to ensure compliance with industry standards (GMP etc…)
-Background in developing P&IDs and design specifications
-Knowledge of water systems, clean-in-place (CIP),steam-in-place (SIP), and other equipment
-Experience designing cleaning validation protocols, which include: Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, and Performance Qualification
-Ability to develop quality systems and protocol reports

To be considered for the Engineer I opportunity, candidate must meet the following requirements:

-Have a minimum of 1-4 years of GMP drug manufacture, validation, programming, or chemical process design experience
-BS degree or higher in chemical engineering or other relevant disciplines
-Have strong computer knowledge: MS Office products and AutoCAD
-Be willing to travel
