Job Listing: Asbestos Building Inspector W/ AMS

Rocky Mountain Environmental Firm is actively seeking an Asbestos Building Inspector with an AHERA certification to join its team located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

This position will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting or assisting in performing preparatory initial inspections of abatement projects
- Conducting follow-up progress inspections to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Testing equipment and machinery including carbon monoxide equipment, temporary electrical setups, ventilation systems, plumbing and other conditions affecting employees and public health
- Collecting samples of bulk and dusting to assess potential asbestos hazards
- Reviewing closing documents for billing of contractors and checking for violations of regulations
- Consulting with public and private entities regarding maintenance, repair and handling of asbestos containing materials.
