Job Listing: Entry Level Quality Control Chemist

Aerotek Scientific, a national recruiting firm, is now hiring an Entry Level QC Chemist for a pharmaceutical company in Winchester, Kentucky. This position requires a bachelors degree in a physical science, 1-3 years of laboratory experience, and must be open to working THIRD shift.

Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in a physical science
-1-3 years of laboratory experience
-OPEN TO THIRD SHIFT (12 AM-8 AM)

Responsibilities:
-Perform raw material and cleaning validation testing
-Maintaining and recording all testing results along with maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.
-Perform accurate testing on the first attempt under pressure of production detail.
-Extensive use of the following laboratory equipment: HPLC, FTIR, Viscometer, UV/VIS, Autotitration, Polarimetry, etc.
-Daily routine and non-routine use of HPLC equipment and associated hardware.
-All testing performed under cGMP and GLP regulatory requirements
