Job Listing: Director of Clinical Affairs

Responsibilities:
1.Collaborates with cross-functional teams and pharmaceutical partners in the clinical development process.
2.Responsible for managing the selection of vendors in accordance to company’s policies and optimal delivery of results. Screen, select and manage Clinical Research Organizations (CRO) and clinical sites.
3. Provides strategic input on issues related to: clinical trial timelines, costs and feasibility.
4.This individual MUST have managed an entire Phase II trial from start to finish.

Capabilities:
- Strong leadership experience and motivational skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and in an entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent oral/written/presentation communications
- Ability to work in cross-functional and team environments
- Willing and able to travel (travel will come in waves; the first 6 months will involved between 50-75% travel and the next 6 months will require very little)

Requirements:
-Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in areas related to life sciences, or drug development
-At least 8 years of experience in clinical trial management and drug development; this person MUST have at least 8 years within the pharma industry
