Job Listing: Mechanical Engineer-HVAC

A innovative company dealing with product design, materials, and craftsmanship in building facilities is hiring a two Mechanical Engineers.

The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of industrial refrigeration systems.
The engineer will:
- Be involved with the design and development of large products serving a variety of refrigeration applications (i.e. Ammonia, Freon, Carbon Dioxide, Propane).
- Work with drafter/designers, manufacturing, customers and outside sales teams in to identify / qualify performance specifications.
- Work with a data entry system to develop the required BOM for the designed unit and distribute a job package.
- Communicate with drafting/design team to ensure design layout requirements; able to review and mark-up fabrication drawings with attention to detail.
- Work closely with manufacturing to ensure products are designed for manufacturability.
- Travel as necessary to customers or suppliers to assist in technical analysis.

Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2-5 plus years experience in design, development, or test of industrial refrigeration systems is required.
- Strong knowledge of system design, energy performance and product reliability is preferred.
- Ability to assess customer needs and select appropriate solutions for customized refrigeration applications is required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to handle presentations during product review sessions.

    Salary and Benefits

    Rate: $45,000 to $70,000 per Year
