Job Listing: SQL Server DBA

We are currently looking for a strong SQL Server Database Administrator for a permanent opportunity. This person should have experience with DBA best practices as well as strong technical communications. Strong documentation skills and a 'business thought' mind set is strongly desired. The IT professional should also have experience with transactional data bases. A great deal of the work will be performed independently, so completing tasks without structure is vital. Personality and communication are as important as the technical aspects of this position.

Job Description:

-Maintaining, optimizing, programming and troubleshooting all corporate databases and their contents.
-Planning and growth of existing and new client databases.
-Creation and maintenance of appropriate database support.
-Operations programming documentation.

Skills:

-Performance troubleshooting with SQL queries and database security issues.
-Knowledge of all versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
-Healthcare claims background will be a huge plus
