Job Listing: Entry Level Cabling Technician

One of TEKsystems clients in Canton, MI is in need of Entry Level Communications Technicians for a contract to hire engagement.

The qualified candidate will be trained and tested to perform various types of communications cabling (Cat V and Cable TV) installation, termination and testing in new and existing buildings.

Candidates who will be considered MUST HAVE the following qualifications:

Associates Degree in Electronic Technology or related training is preferred, but a High School Diploma is absolutely necessary.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 80 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation
Candidates must have their own reliable transportation
Strong customer service skills

Candidates who will be considered must be available and eligible to report to work in Canton, MI within two weeks time. Prospective start dates will begin in November 2008 after an extensive interview and screening process.
