Job Listing: Quality Engineer - Trumbull, CT

Our client, the worlds pre-eminent helicopter logistic support company, is looking for a quality engineer to work at their Trumbull, CT facility.

Quality Engineer's duties will include but are not limited to:
- Provide quality related technical support to internal and external customers.
- Utilize standard statistical techniques to monitor and evaluate the performance of manufacturing, overhaul and quality processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate process improvement activities.
- Write/Review/Revise quality procedures, work instructions, forms and other quality system documents.
- Participate in quality audit activities as needed.
- Participate in supplier development activities.
- Coordinate the quality approval process for new suppliers.
- Coordinate the collection, analysis and presentation of supplier performance metrics.
- Evaluate and provide input on inspection equipment needs, including measurement error evaluation and equipment repeatability and reproducibility as appropriate.
- Interpret specification requirements in relation to product and process characteristics.
- Work with R&D and Engineering to develop functional testing as needed to reduce escapes.
- Perform Design and Analysis of Experiments as necessary.
- Participate in root cause analyses and development of corrective and preventive action plans.

Quality Engineer Requirements:
- AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Systems experience
- Knowledge of FAA & EASA Regulations
- Aerospace industry experience
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Certified Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer's Compensation will include:
